There is a phenomenal amount of things to do in the Spey Valley, most are run by the Rothiemurchus Estate or the Alvie Estate. A few of the best are highlighted below and most can be booked online here. Suggest booking early as things do get booked out.
Bikes can be hired from various places in Aviemore. We would suggest Rothiemurchus Estate a good place to start.
Quad Bike Tours
Led by a fully experienced guide, your quad trek will take you along a stunning network of tracks and trails around the estate.
Go Karting
A great outdoor track with a superb backdrop. Karts for all ages as well as some tandem karts.
Clay Pigeon Shooting
Set in absolutely breath-taking scenery and established for over 25 years, Rothiemurchus is one of the best clay shooting facilities in the UK. The exceptional facilities and top class tuition ensure that whether you are a complete beginner or a crack shot you’ll have a sensational time.
Tree Zone
Lasting for 1 to 1.5 hours (very much dependant on individual ability), this exciting adventure playground is suspended from wires high up in the pine forests of Rothiemurchus with balance beams, Tarzan swings and a monster zip-wire ride. You’ll face 35 different challenges on your journey through the forest canopy.
Water based adventures ranging from white water rafting to SUP

River Swimming at Glen Feshie
Head up to Glen Feshie to find numerous spots for some open water swimming. Perfect for a nice day.
